Yesterday I skipped a day of work and spent it in the kitchen with the bf. We bought/grilled some premarinated bulgogi from the little korean market down the street, whipped up some random side dishes, and made these beef cakes from my favorite Korean food blog (great photos and simple step by step instructions).
The beef patties were SO DELICIOUS and SO EASY to make - they should live in everyone’s freezer. Go buy some ground beef and veggies and start mixin’ it up! You won’t regret it!
i’m one lucky lucky lady. my goodness that was delicious :)
every year, september 1st is the worst day in boston. everyone, both students and non-students are moving in or out or if you’re lucky…both. today was also my first day of class so thinking i would be a good student and arrive early, i gave myself 1hr to make this journey which usually only takes 15min. even after sprinting across campus and through some giant ceremony taking place in front of my building, i still ended up being 10min late.
most people would have been frustrated by this…i typically get a low to moderate case of road rage on an average day of driving through boston. today. i did not feel any road rage. and that is because my co-worker gave me 4 beautiful little cannolis from the elm street deli in everett. i have had cannolis before but none like these….i ate 3 of those 4 of those cannolis during that journey. (…they are the only things i have consumed so far today aside from my coffee…and it is 8pm. the 4th cannoli i saved one for my roommate. i know, i’m a saint.)
i know this is the worst story ever. usually i stink at telling stories and i’m sure this is even worse because i’ve only ingested sugar and caffeine all day. but….
i think i have found the answer to world peace. and cheese filled.
